ATEAM Productions is a Singapore-based AV production company specialising in live camera production, LED walls, and livestreaming for brand events.
For Orchard Ignition, a major motorsport event where a section of Singapore's iconic Orchard Road shopping belt was transformed into a temporary race track, a Formula 1 reserve driver took to the streets to perform doughnuts in front of an estimated 200,000 fans, alongside an appearance by a global K-pop girl group. ATEAM was brought in to manage the full-fledged live camera production along the route. We broadcasted the live performance directly onto the LED wall at the brand's flagship store and executed a multi-country livestream across TikTok and the brand's official channels.
This case study outlines the operational planning and complex technical challenges we faced during the project. Leveraging our expertise, we successfully overcame these hurdles by deploying bonded 4G/5G, SRT, NDI over fibre, and a 60GHz wireless bridge, among other advanced solutions.
What Made This Event Hard to Produce
No Pre-Testing Window
Store access was restricted until 10:00 PM, requiring the LED wall and control chain to be built, deployed, and validated overnight with zero prior testing on-site.
Zero Venue Internet
The flagship store had no internet connectivity, meaning all video and control signals relied entirely on our dedicated network.
Long Distance Without On-Site Power
Camera positions spanned 600 metres from the store to ION Orchard along Orchard Road, operating without any venue generators.
In-Car Wireless Transmission
Two cameras were mounted inside a high-speed vehicle, requiring rock-solid wireless video links while moving at speed.
Ultra-Low Latency Demands
Simultaneously feeding a live crowd watching the LED wall and a global TikTok stream left no room for audio/video sync delay.
Tight Load-In & Extreme Heat
Site access began at 5:00 PM the day prior for an overnight build, followed by a full 7:00 AM event-day deployment operating in intense outdoor heat and direct sunlight.
How We Solved It
Overnight Setup with Zero Pre-Testing Window
Built a wireless control chain connecting Ngee Ann City, across Orchard Road, to the flagship store's server room. Granted venue access only at 10:00 PM, the entire control link was installed, patched, and verified overnight alongside the LED wall installation.
Synchronised Store LED Display
Deployed Renewed Vision PVP3 media servers to drive the LED wall. During the show, the live TikTok broadcast was routed to the screen, ensuring the store crowd experienced the exact same programme as online viewers.
Off-Grid Network & Bonding Infrastructure
Built a fully autonomous network utilising cellular bonding devices. Two LiveU units transmitted in-car camera feeds via SRT to ATEAM's central bonding server. Additionally, a dedicated encoder equipped with 4 SIM cards across all major local telcos (M1, StarHub, and Singtel) linked to the vMix control station, creating multi-carrier redundancy with zero dependency on venue connectivity.
High-Speed Wireless In-Car Cameras
Installed two GoPros inside the performance car carrying the K-pop artists to capture raw, dynamic reactions during high-speed stunts. Video feeds were transmitted via LiveU using dual-SIM bonding over SRT to maintain ultra-stable streams at vehicle speed.
Comprehensive Route & Roving Coverage
Stationed multiple Sony FX6 cameras along the route to track vehicles from the flagship store to ION Orchard. A roving Sony FX3 on a gimbal captured close-up, dynamic shots of the emcees, K-pop stars, and the Formula 1 reserve driver.
Redundant Fibre & Wireless Infrastructure
Deployed ~2.5km of total cabling using multiple network switches and wireless links across the 600m stretch. To eliminate single points of failure, every run utilised primary and secondary redundant fibre paths, ensuring seamless failover if a line dropped.
Ultra-Low Latency Transmission
Standard SRT added unacceptable latency for the live crowd at ION Orchard. We bypassed this by routing the signal over a Ubiquiti 60GHz wireless bridge, delivering near-zero latency video feeds.
Production Team & Key Roles
Deployed a 12-person technical setup and teardown crew, 5 camera operators, and 4 drone operators.
A dedicated 4-technician standby team was deployed 30 minutes prior to showtime to quickly mount and rig the GoPro cameras inside the stunt car.
Managed the live mix down across emcees, music playback, ambient camera audio, and in-car GoPros, delivering balanced feeds for both the on-site audience and the vMix stream for TikTok viewers.
Handled live video switching and feed ingestion for nearly 10 camera inputs, collaborating closely with the Camera Director.
Monitored NDI stream integrity, managed network bandwidth loads, and actively regulated NDI converter temperatures operating under unshaded direct sun.
The Results
The event was a resounding success, drawing an estimated 200,000 fans to Orchard Road while reaching hundreds of thousands of online viewers across six countries. Despite zero venue internet and no on-site generator power, ATEAM's custom-built network infrastructure delivered 100% signal reliability throughout the two-hour live show.
From high-speed in-car POV feeds to near-zero latency playback on the flagship store's LED wall, every camera input was ingested and broadcasted flawlessly, proving ATEAM's ability to engineer resilient, complex AV solutions for massive, high-stakes brand activations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you livestream from a venue with no internet connectivity?
Yes. For Orchard Ignition, the venue lacked internet access, so we deployed our own self-contained network. In-car camera feeds transmitted over SRT via two LiveU bonding units, while our central vMix console drew high-speed internet from a dedicated 4-SIM cellular bonding device using SIM cards across Singapore's three major telcos (M1, StarHub, and Singtel) for maximum network redundancy.
How much setup time does a custom LED wall installation require?
Setup time varies depending on site constraints, but we excel under tight deadlines. At Orchard Ignition, initial load-in started at 5:00 PM, with physical store access granted only at 10:00 PM. Our team successfully built, mapped, and fully tested the LED wall and its entire wireless control chain overnight in time for doors to open.
Can you deploy live cameras inside a moving high-speed vehicle?
Yes. We mounted two GoPro action cameras inside the stunt performance vehicle, each paired with a LiveU unit bonding two SIM cards to transmit low-latency SRT video to our proprietary bonding server. Because the car was unavailable until right before the show, a specialised standby crew rigged and tested the cameras in a tight 30-minute window prior to launch.
How do you power remote camera positions when no generators are available on-site?
We deploy portable battery power solutions and off-grid network infrastructures. For Orchard Ignition, where no generators were permitted, remote nodes like the Lucky Plaza bus stop position ran on DJI portable battery power packs, with video feeds routed back through our network of redundant fibre and 60GHz wireless bridges.
Can an LED wall display the live stream in real time without delay?
Yes. We used Renewed Vision PVP3 media servers to manage playback. The system displayed pre-show brand content before seamlessly switching to the live TikTok broadcast feed, allowing the on-site audience at the store to experience the exact same low-latency programme as online viewers worldwide.
